Allegri, an historical Italian outerwear brand that was first established in the 1960s, specializes in waterproof fabrics used for raincoats, trench coats, caban jackets, and short jackets. It is part of the portfolio of Dismi 92 S.p.A., with headquarters in Vinci (Florence), whose shareholders are the Allegri family (with 60% of the shares) and the Orlando Italy equity firm, that acquired 40% of the company in March 2008. The company has a production plant in Florence that employs 130 people and also a prestigious showroom - Spazio Allegri - on Via Stendhal in Milan, in the heart of the famous Tortona Zone.
Due to the value added of being a family-run business and its production expertise gained over the years, Allegri has become an internationally renowned brand sold in leading department stores and multi-brand boutiques. The brand is also sold in Allegri boutiques on Corso Venezia in Milan's fashion district and on the historic Via Tornabuoni in Florence.
Today Allegri is enjoying a "new life", thanks to the complete restyling of its collections, that was done to create a precise positioning for its product lines, and to its cooperation with important designers, a tradition that has brought the company to work with Giorgio Armani (for whom Dismi 92 S.p.A. still produces his sport-wear collections), Romeo Gigli, Marithé et Francois Girbaud, Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf.
Allegri is currently working with Neapolitan designer Francesco Scognamiglio, who leads the brand’s luxury line 01 01 09 ALLEGRI starting with the Fall/Winter 2009 collection. This line is joined by a collection with a high technical content ALLEGRI MILANO designed to satisfy the needs of Allegri’s habitual customers and developed by Mauro Ravizza Krieger. An additional sportswear line ALLEGRI A-TECH is designed by Allegri’s creative team.
This complete offer will make Allegri an increasingly stronger point of reference on the international fashion scene.
